Meanwhile Aidiladha or 'Eid Ul-Adha' in Arabic which is also known as Hari Raya Haji in Malaysia will be celebrated on Nov 17.
Aidiladha is a special religious festivity as this is the occassion where Muslims pay their respects to Prophet Abraham and his son Ismail, and it is 'sunat' for Muslims to perform the Qurban during Aidiladha.
The Qurban is performed after the Aidiladha prayers on the 10th of Zulhijjah right until the 13thday of the month (a space of four days).
