Menara Alor Setar Kedah adalah setinggi 165.5 meter dan merupakan menara tertinggi di bahagian utara Malaysia. Terletak di tengah-tengah bandar Alor Setar dan pelbagai sudut pandangan menarik yang dapat dinikmati semasa anda berada di sana. Ia telah dirasmikan pada 14 Ogos 1997 oleh Tun Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamed yang mana menjadi Perdana Menteri Malaysia ketika itu.

Kos untuk naik ke atas menara ini kalau tidak silap ialah RM6 untuk dewasa dan RM3 untuk pelajar sekolah. Ia dibuka setiap hari dari jam 10 pagi hingga 7 petang.

City Bayview Langkawi is the first hotel I stayed when I was there last few weeks. City Bayview Hotel is in Kuah Town. I would say that it is an easy place for me to find food, to shop and just going around in the town. There a lot of shops which selling various of goods especially their price is very much lower or I can say much-much cheaper since here is free duty place. Some photos to be shares are as follow:

The Langkawi Cable Car system is located at the Oriental Village, Langkawi a theme shopping centre housed in 30’s individually designed buildings showcasing Malaysian and Oriental architecture. The attraction located on the southwestern coast of the main island of Langkawi. It’s just 30 minutes drive from Kuah town and 15 minutes drive from Langkawi International Airport.

It is at the foot hill of the Mat Chincang Mountain, Langkawi. The views are forest panaromic surrounding and you can see there the Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells) waterfalls as well as the sea. There are two stations at the middle and at the top of the Langkawi cable car as per photos.

Just before I go further details Langkawi Island, here I enclose Langkawi Island map for you to read first. Then after this, I can share with you all the mesmerizing Langkawi Island and all beautiful places there through my photos.

Langkawi Island is one of a good destination offers and exotic holiday destination in Malaysia. Langkawi Island has 99 tropical islands off the north-west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and it is about 30km from the Kuala Perlis mainland. They’re accessible by boat from Penang, Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah and Satun, Thailand, or by air from Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

I have been in Langkawi Island, Kedah 2 weeks ago. Anyway this entry only for posting the introduction of Kedah state, Malaysia.

Kedah located in northwest of Peninsular Malaysia. To the north is the state Perlis and to the south and southwest are Perak and Penang respectively. See the map below:
