This is an actually, quite a popular mosque in Terengganu especially in (the outskirt of) the city of Kuala Terengganu. This mosque has a proper name namely Masjid Abidin. The only mosques that can surpasses this mosques are an old Masjid Putih(White Mosque), Masjid Terapung(Floating Mosque) and the newly appeared Masjid Kristal(Crystall Mosque). Anyway this mosque is among the top five famous mosques.

This mosque has a small library, which I had visited it with my daughter. Even though the library is so small but its exixtence shows the diligence of the mosque staff in managing and funding it, which is not fruitful if not being well taken care of.

Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque or known as Masjid Terapung located in Kuala Ibai, 7km from Kuala Terengganu city. This mosque project started September 1991 and completed in January 1994.

The mosque is built on the estuary of Terengganu River by one of the prince in Terengganu state. Combining both modern and Moorish architecture design, the mosque symbolizes the innovation and modernization in the state.
